Boy, it's been a LONG crazy last week of being a stay-at-home-mom! I fear it's only going to get more interesting! Don't get me wrong I love my little man but I think he's bored at home with me!
Next week we start "lesson plans" for staying home - *giggle* - it might help! This week is way to busy to do any sort of art.
Tomorrow is Great-Grandpa's funeral - so we go from getting everyone dressed up for this funeral to being told it's very casual... no dresses or ties! Oh-kay! So now I have to go find something else to wear! Last Saturday was mom & dad's 25th wedding anniversary party. It was a BLAST and the best part was Great-Grandpa got to be there in fairly decent health! He even had a glass of beer and some cake! :) Then I guess in the middle of the night he told Great-Grandma to call the ambulance as he was having trouble breathing. By the time the ambulance arrived he was unresponsive and stayed that way until he passed away at about 2:45 on Sunday. Craig & Alicia were heading home Sunday night (that was the plan) until this happened and Craig applied for emergency leave and got it approved so he is on leave until Monday (6/29). Nolan LOVES having "Bubba" and "Lesha" home!
I hear the munchkin starting to wake up and I have the pool all ready for us to play in to beat the heat so we're off to play in the pool!
